The challenge: Having practically invented TV as we know it, Sky has a heritage like no other telly brand. Sky’s products have come a long way since ~The Box~, with the service offering cutting edge entertainment tech combined with one of the broadest slates of TV shows & film available on the market. They challenged us to help them reach the next generation of Sky users on TikTok.
The solution: Over 3 months I oversaw a team of creative content producers who, newsroom-style, tapped in daily to Gen Z’s love of emerging trends and, more specifically, nostalgia, which over-performed against benchmarks as a pillar.
The result: We amassed over 2.2 million video views and ~100k likes on our nostalgia-focussed trend-based content alone.
